Russell Monteath: Operations Manager, Campus Dining
Russell Monteath joined the Cal Poly Corporation in 2012. As operations manager for Campus Dining, he is responsible for the overall management of three core campus dining units as well as University Catering. Over the past five years, Russell has developed programs and initiatives to help improve Campus Dining’s food quality and customer service. He has also fostered relationships with various campus departments to enhance stakeholder satisfaction and elevate expectations of dining services on campus.
An Atascadero native, Russell attended UC Santa Barbara prior to working at high-profile local restaurants such as The Apple Farm and F. McLintocks in Shell Beach.
Cynthia Stocker: University Catering Assistant Manager
Cynthia Stocker joined Campus Dining in 2015. She serves as the Assistant Manager for University Catering, overseeing the sales, service and production departments.
Prior to joining the University Catering team, Cynthia worked at the Cliffs Resort in Pismo Beach as a banquet captain for 12 years. Additionally, she studied interior design at Cal Poly and went on to start her own furniture company.
Jeremy Jones: University Catering Sous Chef
Jeremy Jones joined Campus Dining in 2005 as a student worker, and has served as the Sous Chef for University Catering since 2015. He oversees food production for University Catering and handles all ordering, scheduling, recipe development and inventory for production.
Jeremy competed in the San Luis Obispo County California Women for Agriculture (CWA) Burgers and Brews festival and competition in 2015 and 2016. His entries won first place in judges’ choice in 2015 and second place in people’s choice in 2016.
