WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

A dining plan gives students the convenience of having meals easily accessible so they can focus on their academics and student life. Two of the dining plans include a mix of declining balance funds and meal credits. One plan is solely declining balance. Declining balance funds can be used at any of Campus Dining’s venues.

1

Each meal credit provides a meal at 805 Kitchen, our all-you-care-to-eat dining hall (regularly priced at $10.65), or a meal equivalent at most Campus Dining locations.

2

Meal credits remaining at the end of each quarter are forfeited.

3

All plans include a reduced entrance charge at 805 Kitchen, Cal Poly's all-you-care-to-eat dining hall.

4

Unused declining balance funds roll over to the next quarter. However, funds remaining at the end of spring quarter are forfeited.

5

Students with dietary restrictions should review their dining plan food options at calpolydining.com to determine if their dietary needs can be met prior to submitting their initial payment registration for the Housing and Dining License.
