Campus Dining is committed to providing nutritional meals and food for all students who are in isolation or quarantine in University Housing residence halls. Each student will have a menu of meal options to choose from, including vegan and vegetarian dishes. Three meals a day will be delivered to their room at pre-determined times.
In order to accommodate a variety of dietary needs, students in isolation and quarantine will complete a form to determine their meal choices and submit it by 3 p.m. each day so their selections can be prepared for delivery the following day. Lunch, dinner and a cold breakfast for the next day will be delivered to their door between 12-1 p.m. If students are not feeling up to a full menu variety, they can note “Bland Diet” so we can prepare broth, soup, crackers, toast, etc., for them. We are dedicated to doing our part to help students get back to their studies!
Students will receive a cold breakfast that includes a breakfast pastry, Greek yogurt, whole fruit, and juice. For lunch they may receive a Waldorf chicken wrap, Japanese Udon noodle chicken salad or a vegan black bean and corn Caesar salad with guacamole. All lunches include bottle water, cookies, kettle chips, side salad. Dinner could include a barbacoa burrito bowl, beef stroganoff with rice pilaf and seasonal veggies or a vegan Moroccan chickpeas with tahini sauce, basmati rice and roasted cauliflower. All dinners come with bottle water, cookies and side salad.
