It’s a new year, and Campus Dining is ready. Fall quarter saw a number of new safety protocols put into action. We got pretty good at physical distancing, adapted to new testing requirements and we all leveled up on Grubhub. This quarter Campus Dining is stepping up our gastronomic game. We’re introducing a new menu of monthly specials. Think of it as a rotating up-ticket premium meal with a fun theme. We’re also helping you step up your cooking game with a new, completely virtual teaching kitchen. What’s Cookin’, Mustangs gives everyone a chance to take a class with Campus Dining’s executive chefs. It’s a new year, and we’re more than ready.

Updated Safety Measures

Guided by the university, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and local public health authorities, Campus Dining has made a number of changes including curbside pickup, modified dining rooms, deep cleaning each hour, employee wellness checks, contactless catering, and reinforcing food safety standards for preparation and service.

A Cleaner Campus Starts with a Cup

Cal Poly-branded tumblers save time, money, and most importantly, keep thousands of single-use cups from ending up in landfills. Embedded with a chip, the tumblers can be loaded with up to 20 pre-purchased drinks, then simply scanned at the beverage station. They are available for purchase at Campus Market and Vista Grande.
